$$$$$$$$

After talking and thinking and dreaming all weekend with K, I am pretty sure we have decided to start to renovate our bathroom sometime after the first of the year. Our bathroom is very tiny........and gross. Our house was built in 1944 and apparently they did not like big bathrooms (or even medium sized ones) back then and now we are stuck with the one we have. The people who lived in our house for the years and years before us never took shower and only took baths....because they were old....I guess. This means that we have old plaster walls that grow mold like an S.O.B. and we have no tile/shower liner/anything that would be considered "protective" against moisture in our poor little bathroom. Well the other day K pointed out that part of the wall in the shower has now become so soaked with moisture that it is starting to fall down in chunks. Yes I said chunks. When you look in the bathtub at the end of your shower there are literally chucks of our wall gathered up like a little army around the drain and it looks like they are trying to surround a small city. Here is 2 pic's of the bathroom when we first bought the house. They may not be the best pics, but it should give you an idea of the size we are talking about here.

Oh? Didn't I mention we have a window right in the middle of our shower? WELL WE DO!! And I show the neighbors my wang all the time. WHAAAAAA??!?!?! Did I just say that? Yup sure did, sometimes ya just got shake it a little for them to let them know your still there and to say hi!

Ok none of that statement is true. Except the part about the window in the shower which you can plainly see in the pic.

I am going to post one more pic today. It is of K and I on our wedding day. We just got a second CD of our photos from the wedding because we lost the first one.

AHHH, look at that wedded bliss. Obviously this was taken before the rigors of owning a house and having a little gremlin running around tore those smiles off our faces. J/K people!!! Of course we are still happy and smile like this...........usually when we are so drunk we can't walk. C'MON PEOPLE!!!! These are the jokes, you can laugh or just sit there...I have hours of this shit just waiting to be told!

Good night everyone, you have been a great audience. Next show is at 9, and don't forget to tip your waiters and waitresses!!

Look at the smiles....of course none of it had to do with the beers we were drinking all day long up to that point (okay, a few of us didn't drink THAT much prior)....

By the way Kris....your boobs look huge in that dress!! Oh wait, that was your blushing husband that said that...

P.S. Come and visit sometime!

My house was built in 1946, and I think our bathroom is even smaller than yours. But, we don't have a window in the shower.

We are veteran bathroom remodelers. Too bad we don't live closer! (by "we", I dont really mean me, but my husband with the help of his dad). At our old house we had a very simliar bathroom (although it was a tad smaller b/c the sink was in a separate vanity area outside the bathroom) and we ripped out the tub, put ina new one, new shower surround, new tile floors, new toilet, baseboards fixtures etc. Under 1k.
